What's So Special About Morgan Stanley
Quick question for everyone.
Why Morgan Stanley? The Fed. used them as advisor for the Freddie and Fannie deal, now using them for the AIG deal according to the Journal. Paulson came from Goldman, so maybe the fear is that hiring them would look like a conflict. Really high profile deals for Morgan Stanley, who is very well respected, but I don't remember their finance team being head and shoulders above everyone else on the Street.
Just curious if anyone knows anything about this.
