CFA Level 2, Passed

I wanted to let everyone know that today I found out that I passed Level II of the CFA exam.

The second level was an extremely difficult test with a pass rate of only 48%, while this is an improvement over the 35% pass rate for level I. The group of people who take Level I are a smart, well educated group of professionals and aspiring financial professionals. The only people taking Level II are people who already passed Level I. This means that you would only expect about 17% of the people who took Level I in December to pass Level II in June, that is a pretty tough standard, which is what makes the CFA designation prestigious.

Congratulations to everyone else who passed Level I, II or III in June. Good luck to everyone who will be taking Level I in December, and everyone taking Level II or III next June with me.
